Showing Avocado some love

My husband always struggles with the texture of avocados on their own, so this simple avocado ranch dressing recipe is one of his favorite recipes for me to make and he can enjoy the flavor of avocado the way he likes it.
Choosing the ‘ripe’ Avocado
- Choose an avocado that is slightly firm but you can make a slight fingerprint into.
- If the stem falls out easily, it’s probably ripe and ready to go.
- Avoid avocados that are shriveled or have whit markings on the outside.
- To speed up ripening time, place avocados in a paper sack at home and leave on the counter.
