Simple Avocado Ranch Dressing Recipe

I love incorporating avocado into nearly anything! Using this quick and simple avocado ranch dressing recipe will elevate your dressing game! I love to add this dressing to lots of dishes. Especially dishes like salads, tacos and chicken.

Equipment

  • Immersion blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk Ranch
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • ¾ Avocado
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • Kosher salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In your food processor or a bowl, add buttermilk Ranch, sour cream and avocado.
  • Turn on your immersion blender or food processor and blend for 5 seconds, then slowly incorporate 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and lime juice.
  • Once everything is blended and you have a smooth creamy texture. Taste your dressing.
  • At this point add some kosher salt and repeat blending. Continue to taste your dressing until it is to your liking.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Add as much or as little avocado as you like.
You can use homemade buttermilk Ranch, the hack is to use already prepared buttermilk which is close to homemade.
Taste, taste, taste your dressing as you season.
Add lime juice at the end for storage so that it keeps for 2 to 3 days, nice and green.
