Oven Baked Cedar Plank Salmon

Cooking salmon on the cedar plank has by far become my favorite way to prepare it. Making this oven baked cedar plank salmon changes your dinner game. You get that perfect smoke flavor from the cedar plank and everything comes out moist, delicious and seasoned well. Did I also mention it's a 30 minute meal? Well, it is!

  • Pat your salmon dry with a paper towel.
  • To the salmon add olive oil, brown sugar, salt, pepper and top with garlic.
  • Use your hand to pat the ingredients into the meat of the salmon.
  • Place your cedar plank directly on the oven rack and bake your salmon for 20 to 25 minutes.

Keep the cedar plank soaking until you are ready to use it.
Add lemon slices, while baking to add flavor.
Save your cedar plank. It can be washed and reused up to 3 times.
